What is LED light therapy?
LED (light-emitting diode) light therapy uses red, infrared and blue light wavelengths which penetrate the skin at varying depths and have different effects.
How long is each session and what is the frequency?
It is recommended to do 10-20 minutes per area a day at a distance of 8"-14" for deep tissue or 16"-24" for the face. Minimum 3-5x a week is recommended to achieve optimal results.
What should I wear? What should I bring?
Wear something comfortable but ensure that the area of your body that is being treated should not be covered by clothing or fabric. Bring water and a small towel.
Do I need to wear eye protection?
Eye protection is not necessary but we provide googles since the LEDs are bright and intense.
Do I need to worry about EMFs?
The panels that we use do not have any readable EMFs at 4" or further.
What to expect after a session?
Some people experience positive results after 1 or 2 sessions but regular, weekly, treatments are recommended.
